One event I will not miss this weekend, Saturday night specifically is Robinsons Place GenSan’s offering for all the habitues of its famous Al Fresco strip!
As part of the KALILANGAN 2012 celebrations for General Santos City’s 73rd Foundation Anniversary, the mall which prides itself with the tag “Mas Maganda Dito” is flying in no less than the Acoustic Princess, Ms. Princess Velasco for a FREE CONCERT!
Princess Velasco is currently a member of ASAP Sessionistas, a group of singing artists with distinct styles who are regulars at the ABS-CBN Sunday musical variety show, ASAP. The group performed here last year but minus Princess. This will be her first visit to GenSan actually, if I am not mistaken.
Princess has released three albums under her name, Addicted to Acoustic 1 and 2 and the latest, Acoustic Princess. Here’s a video sampling of one of her covers, “FIREWORK“, a Grammy-nominated song originally sang by Katy Perry.
Princess Velasco‘s FREE SHOW at the Robinsons GenSan Al Fresco strip will start at 8:00 pm so I’d better eat my dinner earlier at any of the restos there – Grab A Crab, Piyesta, Big Ben’s, Giacomino’s, Bigby’s, or Sunset Bistro.
For sure, there will be others like me who will be thinking of doing the same thing so I need to reserve my table in advanced. It’s not every day that a FREE CONCERT from the country’s ACOUSTIC PRINCESS comes by in GenSan.
