Starting May 1, 2012 the airline will start flying Clark – Kota Kinabalu at 15:05 – 17:05 and Kota Kinabalu – Clark at 17:35 – 19:35 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Kota Kinabalu is where Southeast Asia’s highest peak can be found, Mt. Kinabalu. Standing at 4,095 meters or 13,435 feet, Mt. Kinabalu offers climbers a challenging trek or perhaps a relaxing hike for others. Kinabalu National Park, located just outside the city, is one of the most popular ecotourist destinations in the region and is considered an important biodiversity site with over 4,500 species. The park became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, the first in Malaysia.

Other places of interest in Kota Kinabalu include Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, composed of five islands and only 10-20 minutes away via speedboat from the city, and popular among tourists and locals alike for snorkelling, diving, and relaxation. Kota Kinabalu is also a major jump-off point to Borneo Island and Sabah, renowned for its lush forests and coral reefs. Travelers can opt for day trips to Likas Bird Sanctuary and The Green Connection, an aquarium focused on conservation of endangered species.

The SEAIR-Tiger Airways Partner Airline Programme allows SEAIR to distribute its seats through Tiger Airways’ established internet booking system, www.tigerairways.com. SEAIR is the first Tiger Airways Partner Airline in the Asia Pacific region.

SEAIR is the Philippines’ second oldest airline, and is the first airline based in Clark. It has the reputation of having pioneered commercial flights to the country’s fastest growing tourist destinations including Boracay, Batanes and northern Palawan. Now on its 16th year of operation, SEAIR is expanding its reach with its current jet services to Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, and jet services from Clark to Kota Kinabalu starting May 1 and Clark to Kalibo starting May 4.
