5.9 Erathquake Jolts Mindanao - March 16, 2012

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake shakes Mindanao region at around 3:58 PM (Manila Time) according to the record of United States Geological Survey (USGS). The tremor was felt as far as Visayas region. According to USGS the epicenter of the earthquake is located 25 km (15 miles) NNE of Surigao, Mindanao.
