Magnitude 5.3 Earthquake Struck Masbate Region


A magnitude 5.3 earthquake shook the Masbate region early this morning. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reports that the quake occurred at around 7:06 AM, Tuesday Morning, March 6, 2012. The epicenter is estimated to be 10 km (6 miles) ESE of Masbate. Damages and casualties are still not known as of press time. Last month, a magnitude 6.7 earthquake hits Negros region killing more than 100 persons and damaging worth millions of properties.More articles on BLOGGED...
