Le Soleil Beach Cafe : Sooo Pinoy Food Trip na Pilipinas!

March 14, 2012 – Sooo Pinoy Food Tour Day 3 in Boracay – Previous Post: Mesa Filipino Moderne Boracay.

We all want to taste new food or some Pinoy Fusion recipes but at the end of the day, we all crave for something familiar. No matter where you go in the Philippines except in some Muslim areas where pork is not being served, Pork Adobo is always present in each table.

It was our Day 3 and our final stop was in Le Soleil Beach Cafe – an alfresco buffet dinner by the beach located right in front of Le Soleil de Boracay Resort. I was actually thankful they did not serve too much food in our table. I usually suffer from indigestion and I always bring fiber capsules for fast and easy digestion and to avoid the feeling of being bloated.

They served all time favorite Chicken and Pork Adobo and their version definitely did not disappoint us. It taste like your Lola’s ordinary adobo but I must admit, I like tender and oily pork adobo with dark soy sauce and too much garlic.

They also served Chicken Ginataan sa Ubod (Puso ng Saging). Ubod in Chicken Ginataan is something new to me maybe because Im used to seeing green papaya and sili leaves as the usual garnish for this dish. Surprisingly, Ubod also gives a different flavor to this chicken dish, I just wish they added more ginger but overall this new discovery is truly a must try!

Thank you Unilever Food Solutions for letting me discover Boracay and its flavorgasmic offerings! Let us all support the Sooo Pinoy Campaign! To know more about the Sooo Pinoy campaign, food lovers are invited to like the Sooo Pinoy page on Facebook or follow @SoooPinoy on Twitter.
