March 15, 2012 – Sooo Pinoy Food Tour Day 4 in Boracay – Previous Post : Island Chicken Inasal Boracay.
After enjoying the new Gelato offerings from Aria Boracay with Amanda, I headed to Tryst Poolside Bar located in Paradise Garden – Resort Hotel & Convention Center Boracay.
PorkChop sa Ibabaw ng Rema
Upon arrival, they served lemon mint cooler and while we are waiting for the food, I looked around and I find the resort really beautiful.
Inihaw na Lapu- Lapu na may gata at nakadapang sugpo
After waiting for almost an hour, food was finally served. We first tried Inihaw na Lapu- Lapu na may gata at nakadapang sugpo. Its smoked Lapu-Lapu served with coconut milk, danggit, riped mango, steamed sweet potatoes and fried breadfruit.
Lemon Mint Cooler
The pork dish was also good and they simply called it “Pork Chop sa Ibabaw ng Rema”. It has grilled pork chop with mashed rema (breadfruit), peanut sauce, steamed and mashed sweet potatoes and cabbage. The chef shared that the pork was marinated in ginger, lemon grass, lemon and other seasoning.
I like the way they cooked Porkchop and Lapu-lapu and made the dish look like a gourmet masterpiece. Kudos to the Chef!
