Crimson Beach Resort and Spa, Lapu-Lapu, cebu

Our family’s first official summer getaway happens last weekend when we spent a couple of nights at the Crimson Beach Resort and Spa in Mactan, Cebu. Thanks to DealGrocer and of course Cebu Pacific air fare promo, this trip happened at minimal cost than it would normally cost if we didn’t book the trip on these discounted deals.

Crimson Beach Resort and Spa is located in Lapu-Lapu, Cebu. Situated 15-minutes away from Cebu’s Mactan International Airport, Crimson is a beachfront property surrounded by man-made gardens and the clean blue waters of Cebu. The Resort is comprised of cluster of guestrooms and garden suites with various Filipino-made furnishings. The resorts main lobby is inspired by Filipino motiff and offers a cozy, welcoming spirit. The staff are accomodating and friendly and the service (especially in the Resort’s in-house dining faiclities) is superb.

The Resort has several swimming pools which are all child-friendly. The main pool is an infinity type over-looking the beach area. The pool waters are well-maintained and kept clean always.

The Resort also offers several recreational facilities including a mini-gym, kids play area where you can leave your toddlers as you enjoy the Resort’s amenities. They have friendly and pretty Cebuana attendants who will look after your kids there. In addition, there is also the Aum Spa which offers various massage and relaxation treatments, several restaurants including the one at the beach front, outdoor massage service overlooking the beach, badminton court and others which we didn’t get to check out anymore.

The accomodations that we reserved is the garden suite with a large king-size beds good enough for my wife and my two kids. The suite has a mini-porch and a spacious bathroom with bath tub, hot and cold shower, and a TV set!

Overall, Crimson Beach Resort and Spa is a great place to stay while you’re vacationing in Cebu. The resorts’ rates are not too pricey and just about perfect for what the resort has to offer.
